Fundamental aspects of business and marketing

"Does Fibi have bad breath? was a text message my mum received from the local vet and it was a stoke of marketing genius.

Can you see what happened here?

The vet could have sent a text with something generic like...

“This is a reminder: Please bring your pet in for it's regular check-up”

Or business related like...

“We at VetsRUs are always here for your pet 24/7 so be sure to make an appointment soon, they cost only $29.99”

Instead, they led with a specific problem tailored to my mum (and Fibi).

“Does Fibi have bad breath?”

A problem which my mum would easily recognise if it existed.

And would instantly get her thinking “that bad breath could be the sign of a more serious problem so I better get it checked”.

They then followed up with...

“If she does it could be a sign of illness so bring her in for a check up ASAP to avoid any problems”

You see what happened there right?

The vet made it all about the prospect (my mum and Fibi) and focused on a problem the prospect may be facing.

And it worked as my mum instantly called the vet to make an appointment worried about Fibi's bad breath (Fibi was fine btw).

This is crucial to learn how you can use this "problem focused" strategy in your own marketing if you want your audience to take action and buy and feel HAPPY to do so.

In the Marketing Lesson: Does Fibi Have Bad Breath? I teach a fundamental aspect of business and marketing that almost every broke marketer completely ignores and is the sole reason why they can't make a dime online.

However, if they were to lead with this local vet's powerful strategy they'd easily make a killing.
